Meshtastic is an open-source project that uses LoRa radios to create encrypted, decentralized mesh networks. 
It enables text and data communication without cellular, Wi-Fi, or internet infrastructure.

The TAMI Meshtastic brings LoRa-based decentralized mesh networking into the community. 
It focuses on hands-on workshops, experiments, and building a living mesh of interconnected DIY nodes for off-grid, encrypted communication.

Meshtastic offers:

• 📡 LoRa Mesh communication without Wi-Fi, cellular, or Bluetooth.
• 🔐 Encryption for secure channels.
• 🌍 Community-driven networks for emergencies, experiments, and exploration.

A recurring small-group, practical workshop where participants:

• Learn about Meshtastic architecture and mesh principles
• Build their own DIY node, step by step
• Configure channels and test live network communications
• Gain access to an exclusive encrypted channel reserved for the TAMI community
• Discuss real-world use cases: emergency communications, community projects, off-grid experiments

Workshop format:

• Each session is capped to maintain hands-on guidance
• Option to bring your own hardware or purchase a Full DIY Kit (180₪)
• Kits include all components required to take home a fully functional node
